Brew your invitation right from the chat

Connect espressimo to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok. Tell the assistant about your event; it prepares the invitation and the guest list, and you approve what happens.

What you can do from the chat

  • Prepare the invitation. Describe the occasion and the assistant picks a design, fills in the details and shows you a preview.

  • Add guests. Paste a list of names or describe a family, and the assistant adds them to the guest list and can seat them.

  • See the replies. Ask who has said yes, who is still thinking and how many seats are confirmed.

  • Share it. Get the invitation link, the poster and a ready-made WhatsApp or e-mail text. You send it yourself.

What it never does

  • Send messages to your guests. You decide when and how an invitation goes out.

  • Delete your events or guests.

  • Change your plan, pay for anything or see your billing details.

  • Touch other people's events, or anything you did not allow when connecting.

Your data, your say

  • Nothing is shared with an assistant until you sign in to espressimo and approve the connection on a consent screen.
  • You choose the permissions: read events, change events, read guest names, see contact details, add guests.
  • Guests' phone numbers and e-mails are shared only if you give the separate contact permission.
  • You can disconnect an assistant at any time in your Profile, under connected assistants. Access ends right away.
  • The assistant's provider handles what it sees under its own privacy policy. We do not send your data to AI providers in any other way.

Brew the connection

The steps are similar everywhere: add espressimo by its address, sign in, approve. Menu names change from time to time, so look for the closest match.

Claude

Steps

  1. Open Claude and go to Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose to add a custom connector and paste the server address below.
  3. Sign in to espressimo and approve the permissions you want to give.
  4. Start a chat and ask Claude to prepare an invitation.

Run this command in your terminal, then type /mcp inside Claude Code to sign in.

On Team and Enterprise plans an administrator may need to add the connector first.

ChatGPT

Steps

  1. Open ChatGPT settings and look for Apps or Connectors.
  2. Custom connectors need developer mode (usually under Advanced settings) and are offered on some plans only, so check what your account allows.
  3. Create a new connector, paste the server address below, choose OAuth when asked and name it espressimo.
  4. Sign in to espressimo, approve the permissions and enable the connector in a new chat.

If espressimo is added to the ChatGPT app directory, you will be able to connect it from there instead. Until then, use developer mode as above.

Gemini

Steps

  1. In the Gemini web app open Settings and look for Connected apps.
  2. Add a custom app and paste the server address below.
  3. Sign in to espressimo and approve the permissions.
  4. Ask Gemini to prepare an invitation.

Gemini CLI

Add this to your settings.json file (~/.gemini/settings.json), then run /mcp auth espressimo.

Custom apps in the Gemini app depend on your plan, account type, region and language, so they may not be available to you yet. Gemini CLI works wherever you can run it.

Grok

Steps

  1. In Grok, open the settings and look for connectors, if your account offers them.
  2. Add a custom connector and paste the server address below.
  3. Sign in to espressimo and approve the permissions.
  4. Ask Grok to prepare an invitation.

xAI API

For developers: add the server to the tools of a request to the xAI API.

Which connectors Grok offers, and whether they support signing in, is up to xAI and may change. The API option needs a client that can handle the sign-in.

A few ways to start. Write them in your own words and your own language.

  • “Make a christening invitation for Luca on 14 June at 12:00, at Casa Albă in Cluj-Napoca.”
  • “Add these guests to my wedding: Maria and Andrei Popescu, and the Radu family of four.”
  • “Who hasn't replied yet, and how many seats are confirmed so far?”
  • “Give me the invitation link and a WhatsApp text I can send.”
